In Hamlet, Polonius said:
“This above all: to thine own self be true,
And it must follow, as the night the day,
Thou canst not then be false to any man.”
He was right. It’s easier to be yourself than anyone else. Pseudonyms aside, your marketing depends on who you are and how you present yourself on the Internet. And while that can have far-reaching consequences, it’s probably the easiest thing you can do as far as marketing is concerned. In this episode, the co-hosts chat about why it’s important to be yourself, some small steps you can take to market yourself as yourself, and how not to feel slimy in the process.
